JOSEPH PETER KIRIN

HAMPTON WORLD WAR 11 VETERAN

Joseph Peter Kirin, 75 died Tuesday Feb 6 1996, at his home.  
Born Aug 26, 1920 in Etna, he was the son of the late Andrew and Barbara
Mrzljak Kirin.  A World War II veteran, Mr. Kirin served in the army.
He worked as a truck driver with Teamster Local 249 until retiring in 1976.
He was a member of St Catherine Roman Catholic Church, Wildwood, its
Consolation Group and the American Association of Retired Persons. Survivors
include his wife Rita Oswald Kirin; a son Joseph P Kirin of Gibsonia; two
daughters Linda Zachocki of Massillon Ohio and Carol McManus of Bairdford; a
sister, Margaret Vogrin of Millvale; six grandchildren;  and one great-
grandson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Anna
Loncaric; and two brothers, Tom and Edward Kirin.  Friends will be received
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Thursday in the Herbert R King Jr.
Funeral Home, Route 8 at Woodland Circle, Hampton.  Christian Funeral Mass
will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Catherine Roman  Catholic Church,
with the Rev. Regis Farmer officiating, Burial will be in Assumption of St.
Mary Cemetery, Hampton.
