------ NOTES: James Dorsey was the seventh of eleven children of William McAdams and Margaret Porter. His grandparents were George McAdams, born in Ireland about 1800 and Elizabeth Faith, born in Pennsylvania about 1875. His great-grandfather was Revolutionary War veteran Abraham Faith, (pension #9982). Dorsey is buried in Monongahela Cemetery in Braddock.
