M'ADAMS - On Tuesday, Jan. 25, 1927 at 9:40 a.m., Charles V. McAdams,
beloved husband of Sarah Hunt McAdams.  Funeral from his late residence,
7338 Hermitage st., Homewood on Friday, Jan. 28 at 10 a.m.  Solemn
requiem high mass at Holy Rosary church at 10:30 a.m.  Friends of the
family are respectfully invited to attend.

NOTES:

There are three men named Charles Vincent McAdams.  Thomas Joseph
McAdams named his son, Charles Vincent McAdams Sr. (1916-1983) in honor
of his half-brother Charles (1873-1927).  The younger Charles named his
second son, Charles Vincent McAdams Jr., (1939-2000) after himself.

Charles V. McAdams was born on November 3, 1873 in Pittsburgh to James
E. McAdams and Mary Keally.  His business, McAdams and Riske Potatoes,
was at 18th and Pike in the Strip District.  He is buried in Section
H-281 of St. Mary's Cemetery on Penn Avenue in Lawrenceville with his
father, his stepmother Catherine Sullivan McAdams, and his
half-brothers, James Emmett and Thomas Joseph McAdams.  His widow,
Sarah, is buried in the Hunt family plot in Uniontown.
