Miss Ethel CHONKO, 52, of Highland avenue, Oakdale, died Thursday, August 4, 1960, in the Mercy hospital. She had been in poor health the past few years. But her death was unexpected. A daughter of Paul and Mary CARR CHONKO, she was born August 8, 1909, in Federal. She was employed by William Penn Fraternal Insurance Association. Besides her parents, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Elaine COLIGURE of Oakdale and Mrs. DeLoris SHEEHY of New York; two brothers, Oliver CHONKO of Carnegie and Jack CHONKO, at home. Funeral services were held Monday, in the Thomas funeral home, Oakdale, in charge of the Rev. C. J. FARMER, pastor of the Oakdale Presbyterian Church.
