Mrs. Powers was one of the best references, for the history of this city, writers could find, and having familliarised herself with every landmark in the vicinity.

The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the First Baptist Church on Walnut Street, of which denomination deceased had been a devoted member for over 40 years. Interment in Versailles cemetery.

It is expected Rev. William Codville, of Warren, Oh., will officiate at the funeral exercises as a special request of the deceased before death came.
