John Z. DESCUTNER, a resident of the McDonald vicinity the past 63 years, died Thursday, August 7, 1947, in the home of his son Joseph of the Noblestown road, Sturgeon, in his 64th year. He was the husband of Mary CHEESEBROUGH DESCUTNER. Mr. DESCUTNER is survived by four sons: William E., Dayton, Ohio; Joseph, Sturgeon; Nesbit B., Neville Island, and John C., McDonald; three brothers: Efren, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Lawrence, Youngstown, Ohio, and Harry, McDonald, and two sisters: Mrs. John MASQUELIER, McDonald, and Mrs. Joseph CUJAS, Warrendale. There are eight grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Pettit Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Eldin BENNETT, pastor of the Center U. P. church, Midway.
