Kenneth FYE, 34, of East Lincoln avenue, McDonald, died Sunday night, August 10, 1947, in the Magee hospital Pittsburgh, following a brief illness. Mr. FYE was born November 4, 1912, at Edgeworth, a son of Maude Glendora SAY FYE of McDonald, and the late Charles FYE. He was employed at the Champion cleaning plant of the Pittsburgh Coal Company. He was a member of the Moose Lodge 696 of Coraopolis and of the First United Presbyterian church of McDonald. He had resided in McDonald the past three years. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Mae GARDNER FYE; three daughters: Ila Marie, Wilma Jean, and Gayle Marlene; two sons: Robert George and Kenneth Allan, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Maude FYE, McDonald; three brothers: Merle FYE of Independence, Mo., Charles Volney FYE of Coraopolis, and Gerald FYE of Ambridge, and eight sisters: Mrs. Freda GIBB of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Mae SPEER of Conway, Mrs. Vera BURNS of Baden, Mrs. Savilla Trowbridge of Ambridge, Mrs. Glendora SWAOGER and Mrs. Shirley RUPERT, both of Coraopolis, Mrs. Edward MONTGOMERY, Jr., of McDonald, and Mrs. Alma KRETZLER of Sewickley. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the home of his sister, Mrs. Edward MONTGOMERY, Jr., Center avenue, McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Eldin BENNETT, pastor of the Center U.
