Mrs. Susanna THOMPSON SCOTT, 45, wife of Archie SCOTT, died suddenly Tuesday, September 30, 1947, in her home in Sturgeon. Mrs. SCOTT was born in Sturgeon, a daughter of Robert J. THOMPSON of Sturgeon, and the late Jane CUMMINS THOMPSON. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church of McDonald. She is survived by her husband and father, and nine children: Robert SCOTT of Sturgeon, Mrs. Mary TUCKER of McDonald, Mrs. Marie GRESH of Oakdale, LaVerne, Virginia, Joy, Jerry, Jimmie, and Gladys Mae, at home; two sisters: Mrs. Harry ENGLAND of Eightyfour and Mrs. John BELL of Ambridge, and a brother, Robert V. THOMPSON of R. D. 3, McDonald. There are three grandsons. A son Archie died in July 1945. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Petit Funeral Home, McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Joseph H. RODGERS, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, McDonald. Burial will be in Robinson's Run cemetery. ---- (Source: Oct. 3, 1947 Obits.
