Carl Grover BICKEL, Sr., 75, of North McDonald street, McDonald, died suddenly Friday, June 17, 1960 in the home of a daughter, Mrs. .er GRAY in Brookline. Mr. BICKEL was born May 2, 1885, in .napp Creek, N. Y., a son of the late Hiram and Sara Ellen BORTZ BICKEL. He had resided in McDonald for the past 51 years and was employed as a pumper for the South Penn Oil Co. until his retirement in .8. He was a member of the First U. P. Church and Garfield Lodge No. 604, F. & A. M. McDonald. Surviving are his wife, Anna ..OLIVER BICKEL; two daughters, ..., the wife of Walter GRAY of Brookline, and Catherine, the wife of William SCHOELK of R. D. 3, McDonald; a son, Carl G. BICKEL, Jr., of Midway; a sister, Mrs. Edna BISH of Atlanta, Mich. There are four grandchildren. Funeral services ere held Monday afternoon in the Rogers funeral home, McDonald, in charge of the Rev.
