Mrs. Flora B. LINDLEY, 67, widow of Andrew J. LINDLEY, died Friday, June 10, 1960, in her home in East Lincoln avenue, McDonald. A daughter of the late William E. and Sarah Jane HOUSTON POWELL, she was born August 28, 1892, near McDonald, and had spent her entire life in the McDonald area. At the time of her death she was queen of Queen Vashti Sisterhood No. 212, Dames of Malta, McDonald, and a past protector. She was also a member and past nobelgrand of Pansy Rebekah Lodge No. 592, McDonald. Surviving are a son, Herbert LINDLEY of Ambridge; three daughters, Mrs. Nestor GILBERT of McDonald; Mrs. Mildred TURNER of Carnegie, and Mrs. Jean SCHULTZ with the U. S. Air Force in the Philippines; and a brother, Charles L. POWELL of Washington. There are seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Pettit funeral home, McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Edward R. DE LAIR, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, McDonald.
