William Davis Plance Obituary
 William Davis PLANCE, son of Andrew and Nancy TROUPE PLANCE, died at 1:40
p.m. Sunday, July 26, 1942, in his home, R. D. 2, Burgettstown, following a
brief illness.
 He was born July 4, 1857, in Florence and had resided in that vicinity his
entire life.  He and Jennie LUNDY were married in June, 1882.  She died in
July, 1912.  He and Ella EMLER were married in October, 1925.  She died in
June, 1929.
 The following children of his first marriage survive:  Newton PLANCE and
Mrs. Nora BUCKEL, both of R. D. 2, Burgettstown, Scott PLANCE of R. D. 1,
Bulger, Lee and Wesley PLANCE, both of R. D. 1, Imperial, Mrs. Orrie PLANCE
of Bloomdale, Ohio, and Mrs. Nancy LANCE of R. D. 1, Clinton.  There are 31
grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the PLANCE home, conducted
by the Rev. R. L. BIDDLE of the Florence Presbyterian church.  Three
selective songs were sung by Mrs. J. E. MALONE and Mrs. R. J. DE BLONW.
Burial was in the Robinson cemetery. (sic)
