Mrs. Celina PLETINCKS, 81, died at 3:30 a.m. February 22, 1952, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Victor BAILY, Liberty street, McDonald, following an illness of four weeks. She is the widow of Adolph PLETINCKS, Sr. Mrs. PLETINCKS was born September 28, 1870, in Belgium and had been a resident of the McDonald district for 65 years. She was a member of the Irons Memorial United Presbyterian church and the King's Daughters class of the church. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Victor BAILY of McDonald, Mrs. S. A. ROMAIN of Mt. Lebanon, Mrs. Leon FRANKLIN, Sr., of Sturgeon, and Mrs. A. S. DeVOS of Baltimore, Md.; two sons, Adolph PLETINCKS, JR., of Wallingford, Conn., and John R. PLETINCKS of McDonald; two brothers, Arthur SCHAYES of the Woodville State Hospital, and Eli SCHAYES of Steubenville, Ohio, and two sisters, Mrs. Adeline HALEY of Heidelberg and Mrs. Mary LAURENT of New Kensington; there are 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Pettit funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Ralph Y. SCOTT. Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery. ---- (Source: Feb. 28, 1952, Obits.
