Mrs. Mary A. MCNALL CRAWFORD died at her home on 32 Bridge street, Oakdale, Pa., Monday evening, January 12, 1931, at 10:15 o'clock, after four days illness of pneumonia. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. G. W. MCNALL of near Clinton, Pa. Mrs. CRAWFORD was born May 26, 1852 near Clinton. For the past 23 years she has been a resident of Oakdale, moving there in 1908. In 1870 she was united in marriage to Mr. E. D. CRAWFORD of Robinson Township, Washington County and to this marriage was born nine children, seven of whom are still living. Mrs. CRAWFORD was a faithful member of the First United Presbyterian church of Oakdale, a devoted mother and a kind and loving neighbor and friend. Mr. CRAWFORD died 26 years ago. She leaves the following children; R. M. CRAWFORD, Addie, Idaho; George W. CRAWFORD, Mercer, Pa.; Mrs. Anna GLASS and Mrs. John M. SIMPSON, Bulger, Pa.; Mrs. Joseph S. HADDEN, Oakdale, and Dr. Ralph MCNALL CRAWFORD, with whom she make her home. Services were held in the late home Wednesday evening at eight o'clock conducted by the Rev. E. A. DOWEY, assisted by the Rev. W. R. MCMUNN. Interment was Thursday morning in the Robinson's Run cemetery. ---- (Source: Jan 15, 1931, Obits.
