Mrs. Bertha BROWN, 52, wife of Theodore BROWN, died of heart trouble at 6 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 1931, in her home, 2151 Webster avenue, Pittsburgh Mrs. BROWN was born in 1879 in Bradford. She came to McDonald as a young woman. Her first husband whose name was LEWIS died in McDonald after a long illness, and she afterward married John SCOTT, who also died. After her marriage to Theodore BROWN, the family moved to Pittsburgh. Eight daughters and one son survive her, also two sisters, Mrs. SIMPSON of Bridgeville and Mrs. WILSON of Wellsville, Ohio. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the First Baptist church, McDonald, conducted by the Rev. G. E. SALLIE of Beaver Falls, a former pastor.
