Archie FOSTER Obituary
Archie FOSTER of North BESSEMER, formerly a resident of McDonald and
vicinity, died Monday, March 9, 1931, of pneumonia.
 Mr. Foster was born October 1872 in Scotland.  He came to the United States
with his parents when he was about twelve years of age.  Mr. FOSTER followed
mining nearly all his life, in late years having been employed as mine
safety superintendent of the Hanna Coal Co.
 Besides his wife Mrs. Sarah MULLEN FOSTER he leaves the following children:
Eugene FOSTER of Pittsburgh, Miss Jennie, Miss Anna and Miss Ruth FOSTER at
home and Mrs. EDWARD WAGNER, with whom Mr. FOSTER resided.  A brother and a
sister also survive:  Gilbert FOSTER of Wylam, Ala., and Mrs. John MCCOOK of
Campbellford, Ontario, Canada.  Mr. FOSTER was a nephew of Mrs. Bell
JOHNSTON of McDonald.  There are three grandchildren.
 Burial was in the Robinson's Run cemetery, with services at the grave
conducted by the Ref. B. F. HEANY, pastor of the First Presbyterian church
of McDonald.
