Miss Mabel Walker HALEY, 22, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Florent HALEY, died Sunday evening, May 17, 1931, in her home in Heidelberg from blood poisoning following a tonsils operation. She is survived by her parents, three brothers, and a sister. She was a member of the Lutheran church of Carnegie and had been employed as a bookkeeper in the offices of the Superior Steel Co. The HALEYS are former McDonald residents. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon, conducted by the pastor of the Carnegie Lutheran church.
