Paul James SHIMEK, Sr. Obituary
 Paul James SHIMEK, Sr., 72, of (Jumbo) R. D. 4, McDonald, died Saturday May
10, 1975, following an extended illness.
 A son of Joseph and Theresa KOLLAR SHIMEK, he was born November 1, 1902, in
McDonald, where he had spent his entire life.  He was employed by the Penn
Central Railroad for 53 years, until his retirement in 1969.  He was a
member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees and the First
Catholic Slovak Lodge of West Mifflin.
 Surviving are is wife Marion SMITH SHIMEK; a daughter, Theresa, the wife of
George AUGUSTINE, and a son Paul J., Jr. both of R. D. 4 McDonald; five
sisters, Mary and Cecelia of Fort Myers, Fla., Jennie ZAJICEK of Carnegie,
Beatrice DASHBACH of Pittsburgh, and Theresa MEIGHAN, of Avonmore; a
brother, Fred of Thornburg, and four grandchildren.  Three sisters and a
brother are deceased.
 Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday morning in St. Alphonsus R. C.
Church, McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Fr. F. Clifford SOISSON.  Burial was
in Robinson's Run cemetery. William D. ROGERS, funeral director.
