Mrs. Rebecca POOLER TRIMMER, 89, widow of John McDonald TRIMMER, formerly of McDonald, died Monday, April 19, 1954, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William BARCLAY, in Bridgeville, where she had made her home for the past ten years. Mrs. TRIMMER was born November 10, 1864, in England, a daughter of Edward and Susanna WHITEHOUSE POOLER. He came to this country at the age of five and settled with her family in Monongahela. She was a resident of McDonald for 69 years and was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, McDonald. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Bess BARCLAY, of Bridgeville; two sons, Charles E. TRIMMER of Steubenville, Ohio, and Edward TRIMMER of Bridgeville, and three sisters, Mrs. Alice MAY and Mrs. Emma MCBETH, both of McDonald, and Mrs. Annie WALKER, of Lakeland, Fla. There are three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. this Thursday in the Rogers funeral home in charge of the Rev. Ralph Y. SCOTT, pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance church. Burial will be in Robinson's Run cemetery. ---- (Source: April 22, 1954 Obits.
