Augustin SOUFFRANT Obituary
 Augustin SOUFFRANT, 80, husband of Damasine CARLY SOUFFRANT, died Thursday,
April 15, 1954, at his home in Sturgeon.
 He was born July 11, 1873, in Belgium, a son of Alexander and Mary WAUTHIER
SOUFFRANT.  He came to the United States at the age of 16 years and settled
with his family in McDonald.  He had been a resident of Sturgeon for 60
years.  He was a 50-year employee of the Pittsburgh Coal Co. and retired in
1937.  He was a member of the Franco-Belgian club of Sturgeon.
 Surviving are his wife and the following children:  Alexander of Indianola,
Henry of Carnegie, William of Noblestown, and Mrs. Joseph DU FOUR and
Augustin, Jr., both of Sturgeon.  There are 13 grandchildren and 13
great-grandchildren.
 A blessing service was held Monday afternoon in the Rogers funeral home,
McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Fr. Michael CONROY, pastor of the St.
Alphonsus church, McDonald.  Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery.
