James Armor Witherspoon Obituary
 James Armor WITHERSPOON, died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 1946, in
his home, R. D. 1, Bulger, following a lingering illness.  Mr. WITHERSPOON
was a prominent farmer in Robinson township.
 He was born December 2, 1864, the eldest son of Samuel and Jane ARMOR
WITHERSPOON.  Mr. WITHERSPOON died on the farm on which he was born.  He was
united in marriage on March 11, 1896, with Sara Elizabeth BIGGER, who died
November 24, 1928.
 Mr. WITHERSPOON was a life-long member of the Robinson United Presbyterian
church and served as an elder for more than 30 years and a teacher of the
Sabbath school for over 50 years.
 He leaves a son, Thomas B. WITHERSPOON, and a daughter, Elizabeth
WITHERSPOON BIGGER, both of Robinson township; two grandchildren, James
Culley BIGGER and Margaret Elizabeth BIGGER; three sisters, Mrs. E. A. CULLY
of New York, Mrs. Lee B. PURDY of Sewickley and Miss Clara WITHERSPOON at
home.
 Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in charge of his pastor, the
Rev. R. B. FULTON of the Robinson United Presbyterian church.
