Mrs. Emma GOSSIAUX, 71, wife of Jules GOSSOAUX, suffered a stroke and passed away at 3:12 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 1946, in her home in the Southside, McDonald. She had been ill for some time. A daughter of Aimable and Florence PUTT, she was born November 12, 1874, in Gilli, Belgium, and as a child of six came to McDonald where she has spent her life time. In 1891 she became the bride of Jules GOSSIAUX. Besides her husband she is survived by two children: Mrs. John Paul DONNELLY of Weirton, W. Va., and Arthur GOSSIAUX at home; a sister, Mrs. Carl WILSON of McDonald, and a brother, Frank PUTT of Detroit. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Pettit Funeral home Lincoln avenue, McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Alexander MAGE, pastor of the Irons Memorial French U. P. church.
