Adam Kaufmann, Sr. Obituary
 Local Farmer, 90, Claimed by Death
 Adam KAUFMANN, Sr. 90, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 1946 in his
home R. D. 1, McDonald.
 He was born in 1855 in Luxembourg, and came to this country in 1882.  He
first located in Burgettstown and since moving to McDonald had been a farmer
and had been active until January 1946.  In 1883 he married Margaret
WEITZEL, who died in 1924.
 He is survived by three sons, John KAUFMANN of R. D. 3, McDonald and
William KAUFMANN of Steubenville, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Katie RIGERT at
home and Mrs. B. J. MENKE, of Valley street, McDonald, and a sister, Mrs.
Anna Barbara KRESS of R. D. 2, McDonald.  A daughter, Mrs. George ZEIGLER is
deceased.  There are 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held in the home Wednesday afternoon in charge of Dr.
Arthur A. ARMSTRONG, a former pastor of Robinson's Run U. P. church.  Burial
was in Robinson's Run cemetery.
