James Tilton COLE, 44, formerly of R. D. 4, McDonald, died Sunday, November 10, 1946, after a prolonged illness. A son of Everett and Ida MURDOCK COLE, he was born March 10, 1902, in Greene county, but had spent most of his life in Washington county. The family lived on a farm in the Cherry Valley district for a number of years. Two sisters and three brothers survive: Mrs. Myrtle KELLK, Manitou Beach, Mich.; Mae COLE, Washington; Cleamon and Leslie COLE, Hickory, and Harry COLE, Taylorstown. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Pettit Funeral home in charge of the Rev. H. A. BRUDER of Washington. Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery. ---- (Source: Nov. 15, 1946 Obits.
