Joseph G. Schmidt, 65 a retired Peerless Electric Co., employee, died at his home, 1150 Highland SW, at 1:20 p.m. Thursday of a coronary thrombosis. Born in Sharpsburg, Pa., May 4, 1885, a son of Peter and Anna ESCHMAN SCHMIDT, he retired five years ago as an electrician at Peerless Electric.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clayton FOSTER, Flint, Mich., a brother Peter, Pittsburgh, Pa., a sister, Sister M. SANCIA, St Clair Convent, Hartwell, O., and three grandchildren. The body is at the Hall Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
