Bessie Virginia (Kurn) Schutzler

Mrs. Bessie Virginia Schutzler, 55, wife of Frank Schutzler, of 1111 Stieren Avenue, Brackenridge, died Thursday morning at 8 o'clock at her home after a lingering illness. Mrs. Schutzler had lived most of her life in this vicinity and was a member of Brackenridge Methodist Church and Pioneer Hose Company Auxiliary.

In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, Carl, of Fox Chapel; Leroy, of Brackenridge; F1/C William, stationed in Texas. Two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Smith, Natrona Heights, and Mrs. Vennetta Haugh, also of Natrona Heights. Two sisters, Mrs. Anna Smith, Tarentum Rural Route No.1, Mrs. Myrtle McIntyre, Brackenridge. Three brothers, Harry Kurn, of Tarentum; Harvey and William Kurn, both of Brackenridge. There are nine grandchildren. Friends are being received at the family home where services will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Frederick C. Frank, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, Natrona, will conduct the services. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery.
