WELL KNOWN WOMAN DIES
Mrs. Katherine Stump Succumbs To Illness Of Several Months

Mrs. Katherine Stump, Aged 63 years, died at 6:30 this
morning, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. B. Blythe of
First avenue.  She had been ill for several months.  Mrs.
Stump was born in Clarion County, but had been a resident of
Tarentum for many years.  She has been a member of the
Methodist Episcopal church since childhood.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Blythe and Mrs. Shields of
Tarentum, four step sons, Simon and William of Braddock,
Daniel of Conemaugh, and Harry of Cleveland; two sisters, Mrs.
George Challener and Mrs. Joseph Lee of McKeesport.  Funeral
services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs.
Blythe and interment will follow in Prospect cemetery.

Note:  Katherine's name is spelled "Catherine" in cemetery
records.
