Donald T. Terwilliger

Doanld T. Terwilliger, 91, of West Freedom, Parker RD 2, died at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 1998, at the home of his daughter in Franklin. Born Feb. 2, 1907, in Perry Township, Clarion County, he was a son of Eli T. and Laura B. Foust Terwilliger.

Mr. Terwilliger was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Clarion, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He retired in 1972 form Penreco in Karns City. He was married in October 1929 in West Freedom to Hazel Wilson, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 27, 1981.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Fred E. and Ruthann Terwilliger of Parker RD 2; four daughters, Mrs. Dale (Laura C.) Young of Parker, Mrs. James (Donna M.) Stoops of Franklin, Mrs. Thomas (Joy H.) Huff of Chicora and Mrs. Glenn (Fay) Hindman of Forestville; and a special friend, Mrs. Geraldine Bartow.

Also surviving are a brother, Richard Terwilliger of Parker RD 1; three sisters, Mrs. Glenna Morgan of Butler, Mrs. Harold (Dorthy) Carmichael of Trafford and Mrs. June Binghert of Rockville, Md.; a nunber of nieces and nephews, 14 grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding him in death were three brothers, Paul, Russell and Warren; and a sister, Agnes. Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Perryville Cemetery, Perry Township, Clarion County.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Venango County Visiting Nurses Association or to the Venango County Area Agency on Aging.
