Judres of Lease and Release Whereby James Austin and Frances his wife

in Conbn of £500 grant bargain sell alien Release and Confirme unto John

Dugdale All those messuages or tenements with the Garden Yard bounds and appurtenants thereunto

belonging scituate lying and being in the Parish of Allhallows the Wall London and

then in the occupation of the said John Dugdale And all that alley or passage from

the luhy under the messuages or tenements then in the possession Anthony Kirkfold

in the same parish unto Bell Alley there part whereof from North to

South rangeth with the outs of the Brick wall and Gate belonging to and lying before

the said messuages or tenements and Yard mentioned to be thereby Conveyed on the

west and the other part leadeth therefrom throughout into Bell Alley aforesaid

by that Ancient passage that was |then| lately opened and leads into Bell Alley

with free Ingress Egress and Regress To hold to said Dugdale his Heirs and

Assigns for ever. A Covenant from Austin and his wife to levy a Fine

Sur Conuzcarte and etc. before the End of the then Michaelmas Terme which should

be and enure to the use of Dugdale his Heirs and Assigns for ever. A Covenant

to suffer a Recovery to the use of Dugdale his Heirs and Assigns for ever.

A Covenant from Dugdale that it shall be lawfull for Austin to break

up the pavement in the alley for Cleansing the water courses Austin making

good the Damage to Dugdale.

Judre of Mortgage whereby the said John Dugdale (for the better Securing the

payment of £420 due to Dame Margarett Gostling by Bond from the said John

Dugdale) demises grants and sells unto the said Dame Margarett Gostling

her Executors Administrators and Assigns All the said messuages or tenements with the appurtenants

To hold to said Dame Margarett Gostling her Executors Administrators and Assigns

from the day before the date thereof for 99 years. A Provisoe that if

said Dugdale should pay said Dame Margarett Gostling £420 as therein

is mentioned then said Enors to be void.

10th March 1695.

By Endorsement on the back of the said Deed said Dame Margarett Gostling

in Conbn of £400 paid by Elizabeth Steers widdow (and with the direction and

appointment of said Dugdale testified by his Executing thereof) bargains

sells assigns and sets over to said Elizabeth Steers All of said messuages or tenements and

premises together with the said Judre of Mortgage To hold to said Steeres

her Executors Administrators and Assigns for the Residue of said 99 years. then to come

And Dugdale ratifies and Confirmes the premises to Steers her Executors Administrators and

Assigns.

By Judre reciting the last mentioned Judre of Demise and the Endorsement thereon

and that that the said John Dugdale had occasion for the further sume of £200 It is Witnessed

that said Dugdale (in Conbn of said $400 and £200 making together £600) demises

grants bargains and sells unto said Elizabeth Steers her Executors Administrators and Assigns All

the said messuages or tenements and premises To hold to said Elizabeth Steers her Executors etc. from the

Expiration of the said Terme of 99 years for the Terme of 500 years

without Impeachment of wasl under a Provisoe to be void on said John Dugdale’s

his Executors Administrators and Assigns paying the sume of £630 as therein is

mentioned. Both parts of this Deed.

1st March 1694.

By Judre reciting that said John Dugdale borrowed of Oliver Marton £200 and that for

securing the payment thereof the said John Dugdale by a Recognizance in the nature of

a Statute Staple acknowledged in the Court of Common Pleas became bound

to said Oliver Marton in £400 as therein mentioned Marton

Covenants that if Dugdale pay to said Marton the sume of £210 as therein is mentioned

then said Recognizance to be void.

10th March 1695.

By Judenture reciting the said last mentioned Judre and Recognizance And

also reciting the said last writed Judre of Mortgage bearing date the 10th March

1695 It is Witnessed that said Oliver Marton (in Conbn of £200 to him paid by

the said Elizabeth Steeres by the Direction of said John Dugdale (which is the same sume of

£200 in the said Judre mentioned to be paid the said John Dugdale by the said Eliz. Steers)

assigns and sets over unto said Elizabeth Steers her Executors Administrators and Assigns the said

Recognizance To hold to her her Executors Administrators and Assigns Under a

Provisoe that if said Dugdale should pay to said Elizabeth Steers said sume of £630

at the times in said Judre appointed that then said Recognizance should be void.

12. June 1697

By Judre writing the said Recognizance and the said Judre of the 1st March 1694

and that the said sume of £200 was not paid and also writing the said Judre No. 6. and that the said

Judre No. 8 and that the Goods and Chattles of the said John Dugdale were extended

by the said Elizabeth Steers. The said Elizabeth Steers, John Dugdale and Oliver

Marton in Conbn of £62:10s to the said Elizabeth Steers and of £25:6s to the said

John Dugdale and 5s to the said Oliver Marton paid assigned and set over unto

Thomas Dugdale all and singular the Goods and Chattels of the said John Dugdale

extended by bictne of the said Recognizance To hold to said Thomas Dugdale

his Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever.

By Judres of Lease and Release the said John Dugdale in Conbn of £600 to him paid

by the said Thomas Dugdale (which is the same sume of £600 mentioned to be the Conbn of

certain Judres Tripartite of Assignment bearing even date herewith) releases and

Confirmes the said messuages and tenements and premises To hold to said Thomas Dugdale his

Heirs and Assigns forever.

12th June 1697

By Judre Recited the said Judre No. 5 and the Endorsement thereon and the said Judre No. 6

and that there was due on the said Mortgage the sume of £600 for principal and Juw and that the

said Thomas Dugdale and had agreed with the said Thomas Dugdale for the absolute purchase of the said premises

It is witnessed that the said Elizabeth Steers in Conbn of the said sume of £600 (and by the

direction and appointment of the said Thomas Dugdale testified by his Executing thereof)

and in Conbn of 5s to her paid by Samuel Hiller assigns the said premises to the said

Samuel Hiller To hold to him his Executors Administrators and Assigns for and during Residue of the said Terme of Fourscore

years and after the expiration of the said Terme of Fourscore years for and during

the said Terme of 500 years In Trust for said Thomas Dugdale his Heirs and Assigns

to attend the Inheritance.
