Ely porta : 2CH the Court Baron of the Reverend Peter Allix Doctor of Divinity Dean of the Cathedrall Church of the Holy and undivided Trinity in Ely and the Chapter of the same Church there holden for the said mannor the twentieth day of Aprill in the Newborn Francis Sixth year of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord George the Second by the grace of God of great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the year of Our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and thirty three before Samuel Gatward Squire Steward there it is thus inrolled whereas at a Court here holden for the mannor aforesaid the first day of November one Thousand Seven hundred and thirty two It was found by the then Homage that before that Court and Suite the then last Court | to witt | the nineteenth day of July in the year of Our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and thirty two An Voyre Widow and Henry Voyre Clerk son and heir of William Voyre Clerk deceased did out of Court by the rodd according to the Custom of the said mannor Surrender into the hands of the Lords of the said mannor by the hands of Michael Anngier in the presence of Thomas Anngier two Customary Tennants of the mannor aforesaid all those six acres by Estimation of fenn or marish ground more or less with the appurtenances lyeing in a certain fenn or place in Ely aforesaid called Luaney Brink now in the possession of Francis Newborn and also all those seven acres by Estimation of fenn or marish ground more or less with the appurtenances being in an other certain fenn in Ely aforesaid called Burntfenn now in the possession of John Lamb and also all other the Coppyhold Lands Tenements and hereditaments whatsoever of them the said Ann Voyre and Henry Voyre or Either of them lyeing within and held of the said mannor by Coppy of Court Roll and the revertion and revertions remainder and remainders thereof and of Every part and parcell thereof and also all the Estate right Title Interest claim and demand whatsoever of them the said Ann Voyre and Henry Voyre or Either of them of in and to the same and Every or any part or parcell thereof and wherein they the said Ann Voyre and Henry Voyre or either of them have or hath any manner of Estate right Title or Interest in Expectancy trust or otherwise howsoever To the only use and Behoof of the said Francis Newborne of Ely aforesaid yeoman his heirs and assignes for Ever but because neither the said Francis Newborne nor any other person came to take out of the hands of the Lord the premisses aforesaid so as aforesaid surrendered therefore the first proclamation was then made and so forth Now at this Court comes into Court the said Francis Newborne and desired of the Lords of the said mannor to be admitted tennant to three acres and an half of fenn or marish ground parcell of the premisses lyeing in burntfenn held by the annual rent of three pence and to other three acres and an half of fenn Ground other parcell of the premisses lyeing in Burntfenn held by the annual rent of two pence and to one Lott of fenn or marish ground containing six acres other parcell of the premisses lyeing in Luaney brink held by the annual rent of five shillings and to a decayed messuage or Tenement and three acres and half of fenn or marish ground other parcell of the premisses lyeing in Burntfenn held by the annual rent of three pence and to three acres more of fenn or marish ground lyeing in Burntfenn other parcell of the premisses | late Voyres as at a Court here holden for the said mannor the fifth day of May one Thousand Six hundred and ninety six may appear | held by the annual rent of two pence To whom the Lords by their said Steward granted Seizin thereof by the Rodd to hold the said severall premisses with their appurtenances unto the said Francis Newbornhis heirs and assigns of the Lords of the said mannor at the will of the Lords according to the custom of the said mannor by the severall annual rents aforesaid Suit of Court and other Services thereof due and of right accustomed and he made his severall fines and dealty and is thereof admitted Tennant.
