Obituary -- Peder Agrimson

From: Owatonna (MN) People's Press, July 14, 1905:

The sad news of the death of Peder Agrimson, father of Mrs. Andrew L. Thompson, Sr., of this place, has just been received here. Mr. Agrimson was a resident of Havana several years and at times made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Thompson. During the time he lived in this neighborhood he made many friends because of his kind and generous disposition. He was highly esteemed by all who knew him, and especially by his intimate friends because of the conscientious and faithful manner in which he performed his work and met all his obligations. The death was due to a complication of troubles arising from old age. His death occurred at Courtney, North Dakota, on Monday, July 10. The funeral was held on Thursday, July 13. The news was a great shock to his relatives, as A.L. Thompson had returned home last Saturday from Courtney, where he had been to visit him. Although Mr. Agrimson was unwell, he was some better at the time Mr. Thompson left for his home here. The decedent was a [native] of Norway. He was eighty three years old.
