| From the Notes Terry Family history: He is named in his father's will dated Dec 12, 1730, but nothing is said about his residence. [ Mr. Nathaniel Goodwin,in Genealogical Notes, Published in Hartford, 1856, says of him, upon what authority I know not "went to NY"] From the History of Enfield: The Rev. Samuel Terry the eldest son of Capt. Samuel Terry b. at Enfield 1690 settled as a clergyman at Dutchess county in the Province of New York where be died during the Revolutionary war.
