Greetings from Odosagih! Let us tell you about Odosagih Bible Conference. We are located on the southwest shore of beautiful Lime Lake in Machias, New York, just 45 miles south of Buffalo. The camp is nestled among the trees; dotted with cottages, campsites, motel, guesthouse, dining hall and recreational areas. Our Motel sits high above the lake for a fantastic view. From this point our pontoon boat docks for rides, as well as paddle, row and sail boats. You can even be baptized here! The old fashioned Tabernacle with raised sides sits by the entrance where God’s praises can be heard on the summer night’s breeze throughout the grounds. Our Dining Hall has an open buffet with great home cooking. One can enjoy a meal and watch folks enjoying the pool and miniature golf. The RV and camping grounds bustle all summer with families enjoying relaxation as well as great music and speaking. Enter the grounds of Odosagih and feel God’s presence! (Driving directions can be found by choosing “Directions” on the menu to the left.) Our purpose as a Bible Conference is to minister to you and your family by providing a place of quiet relaxation and reverent worship through the preaching of God’s Word and the ministry of music. We are non-denominational and all are welcome here. You may read our doctrinal statement by choosing that item from the menu. From 4th of July weekend through Labor Day, each Saturday we have a delicious smorgasbord at 5PM. Afterwards, at 7PM, we have a musicale that’s sure to warm your heart. Sunday through Friday, at 10:30AM and 7PM, our speakers and musicians will share the Gospel in word and music. A nursery and programs for K-6 and Teens are provided for children whose parents are attending the services. During the musicale, only the nursery is provided. We have many activities to participate in while you are here. There is swimming in our pool, tubing and waterskiing on the lake, boating (canoes, rowboat, paddleboat), and pontoon boat rides, fishing off the dock, tennis, shuffleboard, miniature golf, volleyball, etc. Docking for personal boats is also available for a minimal charge. There are also indoor games and puzzles. If you would like to stay on the grounds, we have a motel that overlooks the lake, a guesthouse, several housekeeping units, and a camping area where you can choose tenting, or campsites with either full hook-ups or just water and electric. Choose “Reservations & Accommodations” from the menu at the left to see room descriptions and rate charts. You may call or e-mail us to make reservations, or print the reservation form, fill it out, and mail it to us. If you are camping or staying in our housekeeping units and preparing your own meals, you might enjoy having some meals at our Dining Hall. A list of meal prices is available by choosing “Meal Rates” from the menu at the left. Reservations must be made through the Office at least one meal ahead. You may just want to spend the day, participate in some of the activities, visit with friends, have a picnic, and relax. We have a lovely picnic area with pavilions for your use. During the winter, spring, and fall seasons, our facilities are available for your group’s Christian retreat. Our Dining Hall has a capacity of 150, and is available for parties or banquets. Please contact us for details and rates for retreats or Dining Hall rental. Odosagih sponsors a Men’s Retreat, two Ladies’ Retreats, several Prayer Breakfasts, and special dinners such as our Sweetheart Banquet. We would love to have you come and bring your family, friends, or church group to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere at Odosagih and to meet Christ and grow in Him. Other Events - Odosagih is open for retreats in the winter, spring, and fall. The purpose of Odosagih Bible Conference as a retreat center is to provide an opportunity for individuals to be involved in Christ-centered worship, activities, and Bible study. We can house approximately 90 people in the Motel and Beth Haven. There are also other buildings open in the warmer weather, which would be able to house approximately 60 more people. Our Dining Hall is also available to rent for your special occasion. Sweetheart Banquet February 9, 2002 6:30 PM Musicians : Royce & Becky Ross Cost : $10 per person Prayer Breakfast March 2, 2002 9:00 AM Speaker : Cost : $5 per person Men’s Retreat April 12-14, 2002 Speaker & Musician : Dr. Larry Maxwell Dr. Maxwell has served as the Executive-Director of Challenge International since 1981. He travels extensively to speak in churches, colleges, conferences, and camps. The theme of his ministry is “Challenging Others to Greater Service for Christ”. The weekend begins Friday, with supper at 7:00PM, and concludes with the Sunday noon meal. Cost for the entire weekend is just $90 ($110 for single occupancy) for 2 nights’ lodging, 6 meals, and snacks each night. You may just come for a portion of the weekend. There is a $20 deposit which must be received by April 5th, and will be applied to the total cost. Plan now to join us April 12-14, 2002 to be challenged by God’s Word presented through Larry Maxwell’s seminars and music. And invite a friend!
