GRAVES BURIAL GROUND 2
Lowndes County, Alabama

This cemetery is the burial ground of the William Graves II family. It was located on the GE property in the 2003. When visited by Mirium Brewer and Frank Richardson on December 9, 1934, they stated that the Old Graves burial ground is on a ridge west of the Bonnell Burial Ground. Also not far from Graves Landing. Information from the Lowndes County Society publication of July 1983.

William Graves II, son of William and Sarah Smith Graves, married first Mary Young on 15 Dec 1808 and married second Mary B. Durham on 17 Dec 1823. William is buried in the Oakview Cemetery in Lowndesboro.
