Will of Lewis Orange
Last Will and Testament of Lewis (Louiss) Orange

August the 24:  1734 

I give my Soul to god that gave it and my Body to the grave in hope of a Sure resurection
thro' jesus Christ my Redeemer Amen.  I bequeath unto my Son Lewis oringe the Western
part of my Land and moreover I bequeath unto my Son peter oringe the lower part of
my land.  I also bequeath unto my Son John oringe the houses, orchard & plantation. and 
moreover I desire all my Land may be Divided into three parts Equally among my three Sons
above mentioned and moreover I desire my Dear loving Wife may have her life time upon the
plantation, and then after my loving wifes Decease it may fall to my Son John Orange, may
have full possession of the said Land houses and orchards. I bequeath to my Son John Orange
one cow and Calf, and likewise I bequeath to my Son Lewis Orange one heifer, likewise 
I bequeath to my Son peter Orange one heifer. I also bequeath my Daughter Judith Ligon 
Twelve pence, I also bequeath my Daughter Elizabeth Will_ce one Shilling. I also bequeath to
Daughter Magdelin Atkins one Shilling I also bequeath to my Daughter mary Turner one
Shilling,  I also bequeath to my Loving Wife Mary oringe all the movables belonging to the
Above said plantation. I do desire that my loving wife Mary Orange may be my whole and
Sole Ex: of my Estate and this is my last Will Testement In Witness my hand, Seal in the year
of our Lord jesus Christ one Thousand Seven hundred and Thirty four. 
 
 

At a Court held for Henrico County the Seventh day of April, 1735
This will was presented by the Executrix upon oath and proved By the oath of the Witnesses thereto,
