Todd Family:
Edward Todd was born in Bannockburn in 1829 he married Mary Ramsay in 1849.They sailed for NZ with 3 children - Janet, Edward jnr and James. Their 4th son William was born 3 days after their arrival in Dunedin. They settled in Menzies Ferry where they had 6 more children. YORSTON Family
Hugh Yorston was born in 1812 on Rousay in the Orkney Islands, Scotland.  On 07 April 1842 he married Elizabeth Marwick (also born on Rousay in 1812).  In 1859 the couple set sail from Greenock bound for N.Z. with their six children:  Julia, Hugh, Betsy James, William & Janet.  Janet, the youngest was only 3 at the time.  On their arrival in N.Z. they settled in the area, of the Taieri River mouth, south of Dunedin.  If you are connected to this family or can tell me more (or would like to learn more), please contact Kevin Yorston.
