| Thomas Pratt who arrived by the ship "Hudson" on the 14th march 1879, came out under the name of Robert Pratt - a mistake having been made when he was nominated by Mrs Pratt's brother - Mrs Pratt (Sarah) accompanied her husband. |

| Mrs Pratt called and gave the above explanation in order that her husband might establish his length of residence in the Colony if he wished to do so. |
