"Marriage: 3 Aug 1842, Parramatta"
Louisa Weller is assumed to be the person of that name who was born in Beckley, Sussex on 24 December 1822. She came in the care of John and Charlotte Gilbert. Gilbert was a blacksmith and a lay preacher at Camden before moving to South Australia. Louisa Weller married William Baxter in 1842 but no record of children by Baxter or by Henry Tickner has been found.
Louisa died at "Mount Hercules" in 1900 and seems to have been well regarded by her stepdaughters and all that has been discovered about her death comes from a newspaper cutting found in the scrapbook owned by Eliza Dengate Nichols. It is probably from the Camden News (date unknown).
Death :
Tickner, Louisa, relict of the late Henry Tickner, at the residence of her nephew, F. J. Dengate, Picton.
