I have the honor herewith to enclose the report of Col. E. M. Gregory called for by orders from the War Dept. of March 19. 64. In regards to the last paragraph "that I was fully aware of the existence of the Order" J. G. [??] No 164 I would say that I never saw it before today. the only order I rcvd was one from Col. Gregory, a copy of which I enclose.

Special Order No 32

Lieut W. E. Michael A.R.Q.M. will make requisition for Ordnance & Ordnance Stores and supply the Companies of this Regt therewith at as early a day as possible. Where any Company is not commanded by a Commissioned Officer the Qr. Mr. will issue to the Senior Sergts in those Companies

Special Order No 33

Companies A. E. & D. not being commanded by any Commissioned Officer, Lt. Michael A.R.Q.M. of this Regt. will issue to the Senior Sergts of each of those Companies the Amount of Clothing. Camp and Garrison Equipage necessary to equip them for the month of March.
