Miscellaneous comments

This list does not include people who died after being discharged from the regiment. For example, the 20 December 1863 consolidated morning report claims William Roberts (H) died of wounds received in action, shortly after being discharged for disability. According to the company C descriptive roll, John Stevens (C) had died, but I haven't found this recorded elsewhere--perhaps he died after being transferred to the Veterans' Reserve Corps. And Michael Stufft (G) died after discharge, on 22 Jun 65, but Bates records his death as if he were still in the regiment.

On 28 February 1865, the regiment reported "Conrad" (co.F) died in action or of wounds received in action; I have not been able to identify him.
