Liddick, Jacob L
his death notice, published in the Patriot, on 4 July 1910, page 8 (transcribed from GenealogyBank 9 April 2012) claims this:
'Jacob L. Liddick, a Civil War veteran, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. W. Finfrock, 636 Verbeke street, late Friday night.
Mr. Liddick, who was aged 75 years, served in Company G, One Hundred and Thirty-third regiment, and Company D, of the Ninety-first [sic] regiment, Pennsylvania volunteer infantry in the Civil War.
He is survived by three children, Mrs. William Graham, Mrs. William Reese and Mrs. E. W. Finfrock, a brother, J. Liddick, and one sister, Mrs. Banks.
Funeral services will be held tonight at 8 o'clock at his late home.
The body will be taken to New Bloomfield by T. M. Mauk & Son Tuesday morning for burial.'
However, he almost certainly did not serve in the 91st; the pension index card claims he served in G133 and D 9 Pa Cav.
