He died on 3 September 1912, at Upper Black Eddy, [Bucks County,] Pennsylvania (13 , 15 ).
On 21 October 1912, his widow, Mary Houseworth, successfully applied from Pennsylvania for a pension (6, 15).
In 1920, his widow Mary was living in Bridgeton, Bucks County, Pennsylvania (12). She was living with her children Harry and Emma, and Harry's family (12).
