After the war
On 1 September 1864, his widow, Isabella Wolf, applied successfully for a pension, from Pennsylvania, under the Act of 14 July 1862.
Her post office address was 177 Bodine Street, above Columbia Avenue, Kensington, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
On 16 February 1865, John L Graham certified information supporting her application.
Her application was accepted on 21 February 1865, and she received $8 per month, retroactive to 11 July 1864.
[sources: 3, 10, 13]
Except for two possible references to her in the 1866 and 1868 Philadelphia directories (living at rear 1818 Manor), I have found no references to her after 1865.
The fact that she did not apply for an increase in pension under the Act of 25 July 1866 may suggest that either her daughter died before she could apply, or she had remarried and her husband adopted Bridget.

their ages rule out the William (40), Isabella (40), and Bridget (10) Wolf living in Philadelphia at 1860 US census, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, ward 17, eastern part, microfilm series M653, film 1167, page 689 = 186 handwritten (FamilySearch)
however, I have not found any other candidates, and have not found this William, Isabella, or Bridget in any other census, which makes me wonder whether the census-taker (or the person giving him information) may have misstated their ages
