91st PA: images

Group of images

This is a flag made for the Eyre brothers by their sister. The note says it flew on George Eyre's tent flap at Fredericksburg.

Joe Fulginiti purchased this for $1 at a yard sale in Philadelphia.

Thanks to Joe Fulginiti for donating this image from his collection!

The sword is inscribed to Captain Sinex, who received it when he assumed command of the regiment in January 1863.

According to a family story, one of Joseph Sinex's sons donated his sword to the VFW so they would shoot over his grave at the funeral. (Thanks to Donald Sinex for the story!)
