Licari - I am wondering if this John Rouse is the one who had property in Old Johnston County/Present Day WAYNE COUNTY in 1755 or later--- JOHN MOZINGO was given a land grant that was next to JOHN ROUSE on BEAR CREEK. Also Booth MOZINGO son of John and Ann MOZINGO was married to Celia Parrott HOUSE could that have been ROUSE???? this was prior to 1842????
- Celia's daughter married Asa WATERS? One of Bryant Mozingo's daughters: Mary Mozingo married a John Rouse in 1859.
- Also there was a PARKER ROUSE who was a journalist out of Virginia who
- had done research on the ROUSE line...
- Would be interested in learning who John Rouse's wife and children were
- of the 1755 era.
- Also Alexander MOZINGO was married to PATSY ROUSE was she MARTHA ROUSE?
- This was prior to 1846....Who were here parents?
- Probably the same John Rouse in what is today Lenoir and Wayne unless it is the next generation and I am a little fuzzy on that. Suspect your House is House and not Rouse
