Date 1960 - The planters ship sailed and landed at port in North Carolina in 1736. Some of those sailing were names of Bowers, Pairs, Willcockson's, Boones, and Horrle's. I have spent a lot of time on the family tree and find that the Willcockson's, Pairs, and Boones left North Carolina in the migration west for Kentucky and Tennessee. Of those that traveled together were 3 brothers of the Wilcoxon's. I would like to establish which of 3 brothers that my bunch was from William Willcockson John "George." John Willcockson married Sara Boone sister of Daniel Boone, and Bowers and Pairs settled in and around Kentucky then to Missouri. The state was young and hardships hit nearly all the families coming west, so they separated, some inter-marrying. My main concern is who my great grand father was. This is in part from a letter my father received in 1960 from this man in Kansas. Hope it will be of value to you.
