Moorman Sisters Cemetery

in Comanche Co., Texas, is located about 200 feet west of St Hwy 16 between De Leon and Desdemona,
and about 100 yards south of CR 4981 turnoff.  This cemetery is tiny, about 4 feet by 6 feet,
containing the graves of 2 little sisters who died of flu.  Local legend says the family could only afford
one good tombstone which appears to be white marble.  The other stone is no longer legible.
The gravesites are surrounded by a stone curb and a wire fence.  A scrubby little tree on each side
makes it more visible.  Photographed and transcribed by Elayne Gibbons, November 2011.

GPS coordinates:  32-14-04N    98-33-13W  [located about 100 feet west of this point]  Elevation:  1460 ft.
