LOCALS

Mrs. MORRIS and daughter of Montrose, Colo. are visiting Mrs. Sadie Yoders of Khedive.
John C. Blair, of Syosset, Long Island, visited with his sisters, Mrs. Lloyd and Mrs. Eli G. Baily, of Carmichaels, on Wednesday.
Fred R. Hill, of Waynesburg, was a caller in Carmichaels on Wednesday.
Bob Solly, Jeanne and Bob Frankenburger hiked to the country on Thursday, spending Thursday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Goodwin. The afternoon was spent in wading and horseback riding.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ramsey and daughter, Patricia, visited in Carmichaels on July 4th.
The editors are in receipt of a short letter from J. Lowry (Cap.) Smith, who is at C.M.T.C. in company I. "Cap" is eating like a horse and sleeping like a log, to quote from the letter. He enquires about the Patriot and his friends about town and asks for copies of the paper.
Mary Belle Miller left Wednesday for a visit of several weeks at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Williams, of Hubbard, Ohio.
Margaret Baily is visiting friends in Youndstown, Ohio.
