Abel Allis\Thankful Dickinson
Abel Allis, son of John Allis and Zerviah Hart , was born abt. 1740 in Kensington, Hartford Co., Ct. He married Thankful Dickinson abt. 1779 in Berlin, Hartford, Ct. He died July 03, 1816 in Kensington, Hartford Co., Ct. Thankful Dickinson was born 1753. She died January 27, 1829.

Notes for WILLIAM ALLIS V:
Will dated June 14, 1756 in which he gave his grandson Abel Allis all his
real estate and all his personal effects that would remain after paying the
other legacies named in the will.
He was a farmer and prominent citizen of Wethersfield and held town office of
Collector in 1712, and Lister (rate-maker) and Packer (meat inspector) the
following year.
