Obituary: WANETA D. ALLIS Waneta D. Allis, 78, Appleton City, Mo., died Oct. 22, 1991, at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born in Monegaw Springs, Mo., and moved to the Appleton City area in the 1920s. Mrs. Allis was a nurses' aide at Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City for 25 years. She was a member of the Church of God Holiness in Appleton City. Survivors include two sons, Gene Allis, Appleton City, and James Allis, Clinton, Mo.; a daughter, Mary Kathryn Bryant, Kansas City; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church; burial in the Appleton City Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the Eckhoff-Hill Chapel, Appleton City. The family suggests contributions to Ellett Memorial Hospital.
