Johnathan Field\Elizabeth Cooley
Johnathan Field, son of Deacon Field and Mary Smith , was born July 30,1737 in Sunderland, Franklin Co., Ma. He married Elizabeth Cooley November 29, 1764. He died May 21, 1814. Elizabeth Cooley, daughter of Abner Cooley and Jerusha Graves , was born September 17, 1744. She died July 07, 1830.

According to " Wells' History of Hatfield", Jonathan was " a Capt. in John

He moved to Leverett, Massachusetts in 1752.

a private in Col. David Wells' Regt. enlisted 23 Sept. 1777, discharged 18
Oct 1777; service= 1 mo and 1 day, travel included, on expedition to the
Northwest.
